National Ranches Limited (NARCO) is a public entity that administratively falls under the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries. NARCO is owned by the Government on 100% stake through the Office of the Treasury Registrar. The Company is headed by a Board of Directors. The day-to-day operations of the Company are led by the Managing Director and a management team composed of Director of Production, Infrustucture Developmemt and Operations (DPIO), Director of Corporate Services (DCS), Marketing, Public Relations and Business Promotion Unit, Chief Accountant (CA), Procurement Management Unit, Information Communication Technology and statistics Unit, Human Resources and Administration Manager. Also, there are units headed by Heads of Units including Heads of Legal Services Unit, Chief Internal Auditor and various sections. At the ranch level, there is a ranch manager with several supporting staff including field officers, veterinarians, herdmen, accountants etc.NARCO is currently implementing the new Company Structure as approved by Her Excellence the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan in May 2021.
